Riot Games has unveiled an exciting new pilot program aimed at enhancing the 2XKO experience for players in local and online tournaments. This initiative marks a significant step forward in promoting community engagement within the Fighting Game Community (FGC).

Currently testing in select U.S. locations, including collaborations with TNS Online Weekly and FGC Meetups in Chicago, the program rewards participants in three enticing ways. Players earn 1,000 in-game 2XKO Credits for online matches and 2,000 for offline events just for showing up. Consistent competitors may unlock the exclusive “Casual Suit” avatar after attending five tournaments. Winners will receive the coveted “Local Legend 2026” title, set to be added in a future game update.

To claim these rewards, participants must link their start.gg accounts to their Riot accounts, with rewards delivered shortly after events. While facing challenges—including recent layoffs—the 2XKO team is committed to adapting and expanding this innovative program based on player feedback. Stay tuned for more updates as this thrilling journey unfolds!
