By executing a specific option select, players can block meaty attacks, tech throws, and counter shimmies with Guile’s crouching light kick, a move reminiscent of old techniques from Street Fighter 4.

Despite Capcom’s efforts to eliminate such option selects in recent titles, this glitch has resurfaced, raising concerns among the community. Currently, only Guile seems impacted, with other characters performing a standard throw tech instead. The origins of this glitch remain unclear, though recent adjustments to Guile’s move set might be the cause.
