Capcom has officially announced the second World Warrior tournament in Japan for the Capcom Pro Tour, scheduled for October 5, 2025. In an effort to accommodate a large number of participants, the start time for the first round of matches has been moved up from 1:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The inaugural tournament was a phenomenal success, attracting a record-breaking 2,357 entrants, making it one of the largest in competitive fighting game history. While the upcoming event is anticipated to have over 1,000 participants, this adjustment will ensure a smoother progression through the extensive bracket.

Importantly, the changes will not affect broadcast times, allowing viewers to tune in as planned. The first World Warrior event saw GO1 clinch victory, with Dogura closely trailing in second. With Japan’s rich talent pool, this second tournament promises even more thrilling action and fierce competition. Join the excitement as the world’s best contenders battle for glory!
