PlayStation is set to enrich its fighting game lineup by adding Soul Calibur 3 to its digital catalog on December 16. This classic 3D fighter joins Tekken 3, which is already available on PlayStation 5 and 4.

Soul Calibur 3 will be part of the PS+ Premium subscription, shared with other exciting titles like Assassin’s Creed Mirage y Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. For those without a subscription, the game can be purchased separately for $15.

While the game retains its nostalgic PlayStation 2 origins and lacks native online play, it introduces improvements such as enhanced graphics, rewind functionality, quick save options, and video filters.

Additionally, Mortal Kombat 11 is rumored to arrive on PlayStation Plus Essential in January, promising even more combat action. In other news, Tekken director Katsuhiro Harada has announced his departure from Bandai Namco after an impressive 30-year tenure. Fans can expect a thrilling December filled with fighting game nostalgia.
