The Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection launches imminently, bringing an exciting array of 23 titles, with 15 supporting online play through rollback netcode. This collection features iconic games from the franchise, including the first four Mortal Kombat installments, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and Mortal Kombat Trilogy.

Unfortunately, the original Nintendo Switch limits online play for Mortal Kombat 4, though local gameplay remains available. While handheld versions lack online features for now, a planned Online Arcade Mode aims to elevate multiplayer experiences soon after launch.

This innovative lobby system will allow players to create private or public rooms, host up to 16 participants, and enjoy simultaneous gameplay across multiple titles. Players can compete in a classic queue format or spectate their friends.

Set for digital release on October 30 for various platforms, including the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, with a physical version landing in December, the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection promises to redefine nostalgic fighting games for a new generation.
